I've been hearing from a lot of students how painful and stiff they are in their golf swings. We always seem to avoid training in the winter months and as a result we pay dearly for when Spring comes around. Don't forget to practive the flexibility routines! Flexibility plays a critical role in your golf swing so don't forget your Yoga.

This question can be best answered by asking, how much improvement do I want by next spring. To simply maintain what we have, two days per week should be sufficient. If our aim is to show quality improvement, then I would consider daily golf swing practice 5-15 minutes. This regimen should be coupled with golf swing video analysis by yours truly once or twice per month.

Within Cornettasgolf.com is a link to great savings for tee times. Try without logging in first and then log in to see the difference in availability and rates. This is a great service to all supreme golf swing students. Usually a 20% savings or is quite the norm. Some areas of the country have better representation than others.

Sending your golf swing videos for analysis weekly is encouraged. This action will keep us on the right track. Monthly is ok, however the more often we record ourselves the more likely we are to practice in slow motion. Think of the video as a quiz, and each week we will be graded on our lesson plan rehearsal. Keep in mind that this will also help in making corrections ourselves which is what this is all about. Good luck!

The purpose of training in the mirror is to identify our own mistakes. By watching ourselves in slow motion, we should be able to see any flaws. To make a correction in our swings, we must first have the knowledge of what is a correct fundamental, and what is a flaw. In order to obtain the knowledge, we must study. There is no substitute for knowing right from wrong.

A never ending challenge for all golfers is to relax the right hand if you are right handed. To help with this make sure the muscles in the face are relaxed followed by the upper back and shoulders. By relaxing these other body areas it will now be much easier to relax the arms and hands. Soft hands at the top of the backswing is a big priority in being a power leg player.

Many students are just now noticing what a good golf swing looks like. It seems that after a while we start to develop an understanding of what we are looking at when we watch golf on tv or view pictures in the magazines. This is good so that when we practice in the mirror we know what we should look like.

Some students are having difficulty with the audio for some of the new lessons especially 9, and 13. I will be doing those lessons again next week. Also be sure to get your swings recorded, and uploaded so I can see them, and analyze. A good regimen would be to do this every 2-3 weeks for 6 months at least.
